Florian Mathieu Côtes-du-Rhône

An easy-drinking Cotes-du-Rhone with a good fruit bouquet and well-integrated soft tannins.

About the winemaker

Native son of Provence, Florian Mathieu produces two beautiful rosé that present the best of the region. ‘Esprit Azur’ is drawn from the Coteaux d’Aix, and ‘Pur Azur’ from the heart of the Provence region. His vines are situated on a clay and calcareous ground with a lot of rocks (calcite, quartz and sandstone), and grapes are picked by hand at perfect maturity and ripeness. This year sees the addition of a third bottling, Le Chant de Naïades, capturing the elegance and savoury texture of Provence while offering superb value.
