From vines planted between 1975 and 2010,  in western Franken, along the Main river, 190-300m altitude. Iron-rich red sandstone soil.

  • Winemaking: 30-50% whole cluster, 13-17 day ambient yeast fermentation in open-top wooden tanks. Aged for 16-18 months in barrels (15-25% new). No fining, no filtration.
